Responsibilities
The DB Analyst maintains, updates, and validates spacecraft operations databases (telemetry, telecommand, and configuration data) and FDDB (FDS DB). The main tasks will be the following:
- Manage and maintain the Mission Operations Database (ODB) including OBSM configuration control.
- Implement and validate updates to telemetry and telecommand dictionaries.
- Ensure database consistency across all mission control system instances.
- Support SOEs and GOEs during validation and simulation campaigns.
- Maintain configuration control and version tracking.
- Generate database releases and documentation.
- Support training and simulation environment setup using test databases.
Requirements
- BSc in Computer Science/IT or other relevant studies.
- At least 2 years in database management.
- SCOS MIB knowledge, relational database knowledge.
- Advanced level of English and excellent communication skills.
- Normal working hours; on-call support during critical updates or database rollouts.
Legal and Security Requirements
- Applicants must be legally allowed to work in the EU and hold a European citizenship. Evidence of eligibility will be required from candidates as part of the recruitment process.
- Copy of passport and degree(s) certificate.
- Good conduct certificate from the country where currently resident.
- Furthermore, in view of the nature of the work, all potential employees will undergo stringent reference checks.
Location
The work will be performed from a Control Centre located in Rome from where several satellites composing a constellation will be operated.
