Milestones and Growth Highlights – Update August 2024

2024 has been an exciting year for Aurora Technology so far, marked by new challenges, achievements, and growth:

• EFC2 Contract Extension: ESA is in the process of extending the EFC2 Frame Contract through the end of 2026, which positions Aurora to continue supporting ESA’s critical missions.
• Team Dynamics at ESA: While we’re thrilled to see ESA growing, we are also bidding farewell to a number of valued Aurora team members who have transitioned to ESA positions. We wish them every success in their new roles!
• New Talent and Steady Growth: The Aurora team remains strong and stable, with 13 new staff joining us this year and 7 more in the pipeline. We’re on track to meet our 2024 hiring goals.
• Expanded Services at ESTEC: Aurora is expanding its services at ESTEC and fostering new collaborations with partner companies to ensure employees can remain with their current employers while supporting ESA’s objectives.
• IT Infrastructure Service Enhancement: To further strengthen our IT Infrastructure Service, we have appointed an additional experienced manager, as well as arranged a temporary transfer from Madrid to Noordwijk to enhance team cohesion.
• Boost to Our Administrative Team: We’ve welcomed an experienced administrator to our Permanent Establishment in Spain, bringing valuable support to our growing international presence.
• Strengthened Financial Operations: To support Aurora’s recent growth, we have allocated a new financial officer to our team, fortifying our finance operations.
• In-House Training Programs: This year, we organized in-house training sessions covering key topics like Negotiation Skills, Presentation Skills, and First Aid/Fire Safety to further empower and equip our staff.
