New Business Manager

We welcome Mr. Davide Starnone in the role of Business Development Executive and Recruiter. Davide will be supporting key strategic proposal and bid work as well as providing management assistance.

Davide has 12 years of professional experience including 2 years at ESA/ESTEC from 2004 to 2006. Davide has a degree in Aerospace Engineering and he was involved on different projects in his career. He gained mission analysis & design and systems engineering experience working for Industry and International Organizations in Europe. He worked for Altran, an international consulting company, performing both technical work and business development, management and recruitment. A year ago he decided to move back in the Netherlands, joining SSBV in Noordwijk as senior system engineer and business developer support.

His proactive attitude has also led him to create, develop and commercialise the Starmad software, which was successfully sold all around the world for 6 years and then fully acquired by SSBV last year. Furthermore, he is also CEO of his own company in Italy.

I am very happy to join the Aurora and LSE executive teams. I will do my best to further develop the space business of the companies and to help them in continuing to provide a top level of service in the engineering and scientific support for actual and new customers.

In his spare time Davide enjoys staying with his family, playing squash with friends, and play football with his kid. Originally from Italy, Davide now lives in Leiden, NL where he also enjoys life and he tries to start his Dutch language course.
